RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the survival and crafting game by Jagex, based on RuneScape. You build a base, train your skills and take on dragons together. On 15 September 2026 the game left early access with version 1.0, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
How many players and how much RAM?
A dedicated server has room for 6 players. In the official dedicated server guide, Jagex counts 2 GB of memory plus 1 GB per player. That makes choosing easy: CupCake 4 GB for 2 players, Cake 6 GB for 4 players and BIGCake 8 GB for a full world of 6. Picking the right size of cake has rarely been this simple.
How do crossplay and ownership work?
Since 1.0, players on PC and console can share the same dedicated server. Everyone joins the same way: Worlds, then Public, and search for the exact world name. The server needs an owner to start, which is why we ask for your Player ID when you order. As the owner you can ban players and let them back in, even while they are offline. Admins with the admin password can only ban players who are online.
What can you change in the panel?
In the Startup tab you enter the server name, the world name, the admin password and, if you like, a world password. Your Owner ID is there too; only change it if someone else should become the owner. Keep Auto Update on, so your server matches the players’ version. Make a backup of your world before a big update; how that works is in Create and restore a backup.
