Standard or Premium?

For building and surviving together, Standard is usually plenty. Premium runs on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X or 9950X; you notice it with lots of players, big farms and heavy add-ons.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices can join?

On Windows, Android and iOS you add the server straight from the Servers tab. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch only show featured servers, so you need a workaround there, such as an app on your phone that passes the connection on. Read how that works in A Minecraft server on PS5, Xbox or Switch. Mostly on console? Ask us for advice first.

Can Java and Bedrock players play together?

Not on a Bedrock server. If you want both groups together, choose a Java server with the Geyser plugin. Java and Bedrock together explains how.

Can I use plugins or add-ons?

Plugins no, they only exist for Java. Add-ons yes: put behaviour packs and resource packs on your server through the file manager or SFTP and link them to your world. Some add-ons only work with experimental features turned on.

Which port does a Bedrock server use?

UDP port 19132 by default. With us, your server gets its own address and port, shown in the game panel. Fill in both when you add it.

Can I upload my own world?

Yes. Export your world, unpack it and put the folder in the worlds folder of your server. Then change level-name in server.properties and restart the server.
