Standard or Premium for Arma Reforger?

Arma Reforger asks a lot of the processor, especially with many players and AI. For a small group, Standard is enough; for busy servers with lots of AI, Premium gives you more headroom.

Who is a Arma Reforger server for?

An Arma Reforger server is for clans and communities that run their own operations, and for groups of friends who want to play Conflict or their own scenario with their own rules. For your unit website with trainings and sign-ups, there is web hosting. Our web hosting comes with DDoS protection through RoyaleHosting, with more than 6 Tbps of capacity.

Setting up your Arma Reforger server

Just ordered? First steps after your order shows you how to get into the game panel. To change the settings in the Startup tab, see Change your server settings under Startup.

  1. Step 1: Choose a name and scenario

    In the Startup tab, set the server name, the scenario, the maximum number of players and your region.

  2. Step 2: Choose your passwords

    Set an admin password and, if you like, a server password.

  3. Step 3: Add mods

    Put the mods you want to use in config.json. The server downloads them when it starts.

  4. Step 4: Connect

    Search for your server by name in the Arma Reforger server list and connect.

What does an Arma Reforger server need?

Arma Reforger is the military sandbox game by Bohemia Interactive, made with the Enfusion engine. You play big battles in Conflict, Game Master sessions or your own scenarios from the Workshop. On your own server you decide what gets played and who gets in.

Does crossplay with Xbox and PlayStation 5 work?

Yes. Arma Reforger supports crossplay between PC, Xbox and PlayStation 5. You enable it in config.json, with the platforms you want to allow. Be careful with mods: with PlayStation players on the server, only mods without scripts load. Want heavy script mods? Keep your server to PC and Xbox.

How much RAM does your server need?

The server runs the whole simulation: players, vehicles and above all AI. That is why Arma Reforger starts at 6 GB with us. Playing with a small group? Cake 6 GB is enough. For a full Conflict server or Game Master sessions with lots of AI, choose BIGCake 8 GB or SuperCake 12 GB.

What can you change in the panel?

In the Startup tab you choose the server name, the scenario, the number of players, the region, whether your server shows in the list, BattlEye and whether third person is disabled. Mods and crossplay are set in config.json; the server downloads mods itself when it starts. With Max FPS you cap how many frames per second the server simulates, and Validate Server Files repairs a damaged installation.
