Build your cake
Stack the layers, pick your icing and toppings and add some candles. Then blow them out with a button, or simply with your microphone. Cake is in our name, after all.
Your cake
Turn on JavaScript to build your own cake and blow out the candles.
Microphone on
Your microphone only turns on after you press the button and your browser asks for permission. We only measure how loud the sound is, inside your browser. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent, and the microphone switches off as soon as the candles are out. Privacy policy
Why is everything about cake here?
CakeHosting started in October 2016 as a small Dutch hosting company run by three young founders, with the motto "Quality doesn’t have to be expensive!". The plans were named after cakes: CupCake, Cake, BIGCake and SuperCake. In September 2024 the oven went cold. Since 2026 we are baking servers again under the same name, with new hardware and a new game panel. Read the full story.
From Cookie to ExaCake: how big are our cakes?
The bigger the cake, the more memory: from Cookie (1 GB) to ExaCake (64 GB). The server size calculator tells you which cake fits your server, or go straight to the Minecraft plans.

Frequently asked questions
Does this page record what I say into my microphone?
No. Your microphone only turns on when you press Blow with your microphone and your browser gives permission. The page only measures how loud the sound is, inside your own browser. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent to us, and the microphone switches off as soon as the candles are out. See also our privacy policy.
Does it work without a microphone?
Yes. The Blow out the candles button works just as well. Everything also works with a keyboard: Tab to reach a button and Enter to press it.
How do I share my cake?
Press Share your cake. You get a link with your cake stored as a short code, and anyone who opens it sees exactly the same cake. The code sits after the # in the link, so it never reaches our server. Prefer a picture? Download your cake as an image.
Why are your plans named after cakes?
It started in 2016 at the original CakeHosting, and we liked it too much to drop it. The bigger the cake, the more memory: from Cookie (1 GB, for Discord bots) to ExaCake (64 GB).
Can I order a real server here?
Of course. Pick a plan on Minecraft server hosting or Game servers. Not sure about the size? The server size calculator works it out for you.
Fancy the real thing?
Your server is ready within minutes. The cake, sadly, you will have to bake yourself.
