Accessibility

• Every page has a clear heading structure, a link that skips straight to the content and a visible focus.
• Colours have enough contrast, also in the dark theme you can choose yourself.
• Prices and specifications are in real tables with headers, not in images.
• Forms have labels, and errors are shown as text next to the field.
• Animations are turned off if you have set your system to reduce motion.
• Ordering, paying and withdrawing all work with just a keyboard.

We test the website and My CakeHosting after every major change with automated checks (axe and Lighthouse), with only a keyboard and at a screen width of 375 pixels. The latest test was on 4 October 2026. A full test with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) still has to take place.

• The game panel is based on open-source software. We have adapted it, but not every part, such as the file manager and the console, works well with a screen reader yet.
• PDF invoices are not fully accessible yet. Every invoice is also available as a normal web page in My CakeHosting.
• The payment form comes from our payment provider Stripe. We cannot change it ourselves.

Since 28 June 2025, online shops in the European Union have to be accessible (the European Accessibility Act, implemented in Dutch law). We use WCAG 2.2 level AA as our standard. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, the ACM, supervises this.
