Setting up your Insurgency server
Just ordered? First steps after your order shows you how to get into the game panel. To change the settings in the Startup tab, see Change your server settings under Startup.

Step 1: Order your plan
After payment, our system installs the server; you do not need a Steam account for it.

Step 2: Pick your starting map
Set the starting map in the Startup tab; the default is sinjar.

Step 3: Set your rules
Server name, password and rcon go in insurgency/cfg/server.cfg.

Find your server in the server browser or type
connect address:portin the console.
What should you know about an Insurgency server?
Insurgency or Insurgency: Sandstorm?
This server is for Insurgency from 2014 (Steam app 237410 for the server). Insurgency: Sandstorm is a different game with its own server, which we do not offer right now.

How much does Insurgency server hosting cost?
From €2.95 a month, including VAT, on Standard; Premium starts at €8.95. What you pay depends on the memory; every size is listed with the plans. You pay monthly and can cancel any month.
Is this Insurgency or Insurgency: Sandstorm?
Insurgency from 2014, on the Source engine. This server does not run Insurgency: Sandstorm.
Do I need a Steam account for the server?
No. The server installs anonymously through SteamCMD. To play, you use your own copy of the game, of course.
Can I use custom maps and plugins?
Yes. Put files in the insurgency folder through the file manager or SFTP. For plugins with a database, create a MySQL database in the game panel.
How much memory does an Insurgency server need?
For a regular server, 2 GB is enough. Co-op with lots of bots or a full server needs one plan up.
